Domestic Violence Survivor Education

This educational and advocacy-based program is designed for individuals impacted by domestic violence. The course focuses on understanding patterns of abuse, power, and control dynamics, safety awareness, and available community resources. Participants receive education aimed at empowerment, informed decision-making, and personal safety planning while gaining knowledge about support options and advocacy services. This program is designed to support case plans and recommendations from social workers, attorneys, and Family Court, where documentation of safety planning and education is required for custody or child reunification efforts.

Sessions:

Sessions are educational and evidence-informed

  • Offered via Zoom or in-person (as selected during intake)

  • Attendance and participation are tracked and documented

  • Weekly attendance is required for program completion

  • Certificates and progress verification are provided upon completion

  • This program does not replace batterer intervention or licensed treatment.
