Anger Management Classes

This weekly group (In-person or Zoom) supports individuals completing Anger Management for court, probation, CPS/DCFS, workplace, or agency referrals. This program follows the NAMA-certified Growth Central curriculum and teaches emotional regulation, communication, and healthy coping strategies. A completed intake is required before joining. Progress reports are availbale upon request, and a certificate of completion is provided once all required sessions are completed.

Sessions:

Once you submit your intake, you may purchase the number of sessions you are required to complete—either individually or in a bundle. You will be added to the attendance list for the format you selected in the intake form (In-Person or Zoom).

In-Person Sessions:

Arrival: If paying in person or completing paperwork, please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in and to receive your receipt.

Payment: We accept website payments, Zelle, or cash. Please note: We do not keep cash on-site; if paying in person, you must bring exact change.

Location: Meeting addresses are provided in your Intake Welcome Email once intake is complete.

Zoom Sessions:

Payment deadline: To ensure your purchase is verified, Payment must be made at least 30 minutes before the session starts.

Start Time: To maintain group privacy, Zoom meetings are locked 5 minutes after the start time. Late arrivals after this window will not be admitted.

Access: Your secure Zoom link is provided in your Intake Welcome Email once intake is complete.

Identify Triggers: Recognizing internal and external events that spark anger.

The Anger Cycle: Understanding physical warning signs and emotional patterns.

Cool-Down Strategies: Practicing immediate techniques for emotional regulation.

Assertive Communication: Learning to express needs without aggression or hostility.

Conflict Resolution: Developing healthy, proactive problem-solving skills.

Impact Awareness: Evaluating how anger affects health, family, and career.
